Dear Students!
Graded Discussion Board (GDB) will be launched on Thursday, February 19, 2015 and it will close on Friday, February 20, 2014.
GDB Scenario: With advent of Assembly language, assemblers were developed to translate user code into machine code. Earlier assemblers used to convert the user code into machine code in only one pass and were known as “one pass assembler”. Later on, multi pass assembler were introduced which takes several pass in order to translate user code in to final machine code.
A language expert Mr. ABC objects the designers of multi-pass assemblers on the bases of following two arguments:
· Single pass assemblers were fast as they require only single pass to produce the desired output code.
· Designers of multi-pass assemblers have not done any good as they produced something that takes more time (multiple passes) to give the results.
GDB Question: Your Task is to comment on the views of Mr. ABC. Clearly state your position in favor or against for each argument of Mr. ABC with justified reasons.
Instructions:
A concise, coherent and to the point answer is preferred over lengthy comment having irrelevant details. Answers, posted on regular Lesson's MDB or sent through email will NOT be considered in any case.
Best of Luck!
