CS610 Computer Network Assignment No.2 Solution

We are provided by four tables name as, switch 1 ,switch 2, switch 3, switch 4 and all these 4 switches are shown in the above diagram.

Starting with the switch 1:

1:Read the destination provided n find it in the diagram for example in switch 1 table,first destination is [2,1].2 is representing the switch number 

2:Now, you can understand it this way, suppose u r standing in switch no 1 n u have to reach the destination[ 2,1] or u can say switch 2(number 2 is representing the switch number).

3:The answer is interface 1 because interface 1 is the way to reach the switch 2.

Next destination in the column of switch 1 is [4,3].

1:In this u have to reach the switch 4 from switch 1 

2:The answer is again interface 1 because it is the only single way for u to come out of switch 1 n go on the way to switch 4.

Apply the same method for the remaining destinations.When u will move to column of switch 2 then u will consider switch 2 as ur starting point n will find the way to the respective destination.
