You should consult recommended books to clarify your concepts and can also put queries on MDB. 

Objective 

 To understand and implement the concept of using XAML with Display Elements and WPF. 

Software (s) Used to develop Assignment 

 Microsoft Word 
 Visual Studio 2012 

Assignment Submission Instructions 

 Assignment should be submitted in a zipped folder named “VU-Roll No” format, which includes all 
the files ((word file containing solution of question no. 1 and2, and project folder of question no. 3). 

Marking Scheme 

 Question 1 ---- 7 Marks 
 Question 2 ---- 5 Marks 
 Question 3 ---- 8 Marks 

Assignment 

QUESTION 1: 

Write XAML for defining a Grid with two rows and two columns each containing a label saying "Hello". 

QUESTION 2: 

Write XAML for creating a dictionary with two Color entities one with key "1" and one with key "2" and 
one representing the white color and one representing the black color. 

Note for Q1 and Q2: You are required to submit the Word file. 

QUESTION 3: 

Declare a WPF window containing title “Hello” and a button labeled "Not Pressed" and clicking the 
button should change the button text to “Pressed". 

Note for Q3: You are required to submit the complete project folder. 

Lecture Covered: This Assignment covers Lecture No.18 – Lecture No. 24 
Deadline: Your assignment must be uploaded on or before 3
rd
July, 2014. 

Note: This assignment is Non-Graded and its marks will not be included in course final weightage but 
upcoming assignment will be based on this assignment.
